Strange that they didn't change the instrument cluster. At the FEH Experience, the feedback at the end was supposed to be for the '07. Guess they pushed that back for the '08 redesign.

The roof rack has changed. Or didn't you guys notice!

My understanding from Dearborn was a new instrument cluster will debut in the Ford Fusion Hybrid. The Escape HEV Gen II will probably have the new cluster.
Probably 2008???

The 2007's should be 99% identical to the 05's and 06's.

Nope. Same as the 2005 ( mine ) if you get the leather package.

Is yours something else? I'm gonna guess you don't have leather?

Maybe it's just the contrast / lighting conditions in the photos.
My brake is darker than the seats, but still "dark grey" while I guess the seats are "medium grey" I guess....

Mine is black. No, I hate leather, so I have the normal fabric. (Not to start a debate about it, if you like leather, more power to you. I personally can't stand it.)

I didn't want leather at the time, and I told the dealer I didn't want to pay for it.
He wanted me to take one off his lot ( he had seven ) rather than order one, so I got the leather at no extra charge. I like it now that I have it. First time owner.

Maybe that's part of the EPA's new rules about more representative fuel economy?


Other thing I noticed was that (as promised, and reported in other posts) Ford dropped the MSRP by $1000.
