Default after marget nav on 08

I want to put one in but the faceplate is clearly wrong for a double din nav system. Is there a fix for this?

Two well known posters have both installed a double din navigation system. John Morton did his with an Eclispe system and the other (have to look up his name via the search feature) did his with a Kenwood system. Find the threads and the information needed for this installation.

Their posting is not applicable to an 08. They had different faceplate's that would accommodate such a system. The stock faceplate on an 08 (for the non audiophile) has a separate opening for AC/ CD IN / Tuner / Station selection.

This was my concern with the 08's ever since the first pics were released. I don't see how any aftermarket radio could be added. I think your ONLY choice is to order the factory center dash piece for the 08 WITH NAV, and install that on your vehicle with an aftermarket double DIN NAV.

I think that is probably the only option (as long as the two center pieces are interchangeable)
