Bought a used FEH 2006
Hi,
Today, I just bought a used FEH 2006. It was a federal government car.
The car have the following problem which was listed in the ad (link) :
I drove it back home (160 km - 100 miles). Here is what I notice :
The car have not run since last november and It was quite hot today around 30°C (86°F).
So why the car never went to EV mode and why it burnt so much gas!?!?
Thank you

See this link for making the remote work: http://www.ehow.com/how_6199609_prog...d-key-fob.html
Brakes and brake lines are items that wear out on all vehicles including hybrid.
Rear wiper not working--someone will have to check the motor, electrical connections, etc.
AC doesn't work-bad compressor, low on fluid, etc. Needs to be checked out.
Doesn't go into EV mode--could be due to a failing MECS pump, lack of air conditioning to the hybrid battery via the cooling lines under the vehicle, could have an issue with the hybrid battery pack fans not working, could be an issue with the blend door stuck in the closed position.
Federal Government vehicle? What agency keeps the vehicle for 6+ years before getting a replacement? Where did you find this vehicle?
