This is not a hybrid question, but it is about my FEH. A few days ago, I started hearing a strange cracking sound in the car. It sounded like glass cracking, but it did not happen often enough to track its location. Sounded like the moon-roof for a while.
On my way to the airport this morning (in a heavy snow storm), I noticed a crack had formed along the lower part of the windscreen. It comes out of the bottom right side (a couple of inches from the edge) and works its way along about 1-2" above the dash. It heads back down a little more than half way across.
Obviously I'll have it looked at and replaced as soon as I get back into town. I am due for an oil change and the resistor recall anyway.
Has anyone else had this happen? Any clues as to why? It has been cold lately (-10c) and I park in a semi-heated garage (I keep it at around 10c). I don't think it was caused by a pebble strike but I'll look more carefully when I get back. I hope it is not a sign of a warping frame or anything...
