Thumbs up FEH Sighting: Electric Company Vehicle

I saw another FEH on the road the other day ... a rare occasion for me.

This one was a Commonwealth Edison company car. Kind of appropriate, eh? The electric company vehicle has a hybrid gas & electric engine.

They use them here on Long Island also. The power company(LIPA) also uses them locally. The MTA uses the FEH in NYC and the town I live in uses them for train station secruity and town patrol vehicles. I also see at least 4 to 5 every night when I walk to work in NYC from 33rd st to 50th street.

Our electric co. has about 27 of them. One of the local universities has a few as security vehicles, and there are plenty of others around as well. I think they are pretty popular as fleet vehicles.
