Default How long is the wait for an '09 FEH?

Anyone recently order a FEH? How long is the wait?

I'd like to order one but it depends on the wait!

.

Sold my 06 Ford Escape Hybrid 2WD and regret it every day. Hope to get an 09 shortly.

I ordered mine on May 8, received my VIN on June 27 and received notice that my FEH is due to be built on the week of 7/21 from my dealer on June 30. Not sure if that is typical or not but it is my timing.

Looking forward to hopefully driving my 09 FEH in early August.

Good luck!

When we ordered our FWD FEH on 6/26 we were told 12 - 16 weeks. Order yours now, they are worth the wait.

Dealer entered my order on 5/2/08
My build week was the first week of the '09 run.
My car was built and put on a train.
On 7/7 it was "stuck on a train, due to weather"
7/14 My dealer tells me "Ford okayed my FEH to be moved to another train and sent on it's happy way."
This should end with me getting my car on or around the 20th of this Month!!!!

I ordered on 5/13 and have no info on how much longer it could be for it to just be scheduled.

I order mine on June 19 and I talked to the dealer today and he said that it is order. He did not know when it would come in but he though it might be a long wait for it

California sales have a priority.

Other "excuses" for late production or delivery include:

Ford is sending all of the Escape Hybrids to New York for the taxi fleet,
The battery supplier is limiting the battery supply,
The transaxle supplier is limiting supply...

Amazingly, I haven't heard anyone blame space aliens or *insert name of politician here* for scarce availability.

I've been told that mine is built too... just waiting.

I did see someone post theirs was a "Priority 80" . After I read that post, I looked to see mine was listed as "Priority 10" .... I WAS thinking it was a 1-10 scale Guess not.

A priority 10 is the highest priority a dealer can give for retail sales. Before my '09 FEH was allotted, it had a priority 80. Ford accepted my order on 4/29/08 when the dealer changed the priority to 14. My '09 FWD FEH Limited with 2nd Generation Nav is being built TODAY!

Priorities 1-9 are reserved for Ford.
