Interior Door Grabs Different?
Hi all,
On my 08 Mariner, the front door pulls, not the handle, but the plastic part where the window switches are, happen to be silver. On the rear doors, they are a different color. Is this the same in anyone else's Mariner or Escape? Does anyone have a part number for the silver ones for the rear doors, if they even make them?

I don't have an 08 Mariner, but it is not unusual for the guys at the plant to mix up similar colors. Can you look at another 08 at the dealer?

Re: Interior Door Grabs Different?
Hi, I have an 08 FEH. My interior door grabs are different also: The front is silver, and the back is a brown.

Re: Interior Door Grabs Different?
Well, it looks like it is common on both the FEH & the MMH. Anyone here work at Ford that could check and see if the rear door grabs can be had in silver?

Re: Interior Door Grabs Different?
On my 08 FEH, everything in the interior is black. No chrome. I was a little surprised to find that mine (without the exterior chrome package) has body colored mirrors and black door handles, which is not what is shown in the 08 brochures.

The front door arm-rests should be half silver and half "different color". The rear door arm-rests should be all in that same "different color". Are yours?

Re: Interior Door Grabs Different?
That is how mine is. Are there arm-rests out there that are silver that can be swapped out for the "color" ones in the rear. Upon quick glance, it looks like the front passenger door arm-rest "might" work on the rear passenger door, since it has a window switch as well. The driver side is a different story due to the extra switches.

Re: Interior Door Grabs Different?
It looks like Mazda did its interior arm rests a bit different, but it looks like the reverse of what you are looking to get. I mean, the back half, of both the front and rear arm rests, have the silver trim.
