When I unlock my doors, it appears that the liftgate not only unlocks, but sometimes comes "undone." Thus, when I'm driving along, I notice that the liftgate is open light comes on. When I am able to stop, I go and thump it closed. Anyone else run into this? Is it me and I should expect that with unlocking doors or it is something to take to the dealer? It's the only thing that makes me crazy other than not knowing the temperature and having to "accept" the navigation every time.

This does not happen to me... I don't believe that it is normal behaviour. It should just unlock, but stay latched.

I agree with Jeff.... mine never unlatches when I unlock the door and I'm sure it should not. Get it checked.

Just had both my liftgage latch switches replaced on my 06. Seems that 'they' thought that the liftgage was open, even though it wasn't. Bad thing was that it started triggering my alarm system. Couldn't lock the vehicle! Get it checked, and if in doubt, have them change 'BOTH' the switches.
