You know, I have no complaints for a family on a budget to make choices that reduce operating costs on a vehicle.

But, for those that set out to truly, on a long term basis, reduce costs: using 100% synthetic oil will enable just that.

Consider the savings by getting a Suburban, such as mine, going from the arrival of child #3 (when ours came along & we bought that Suburban) to the college graduation of the youngest child in the family. Although that isn't what I set out to do when I got our Suburban, that's what I was able to do.

If what you need is a Suburban, Boy Scouts, Soccer, football, summer trips, etc, not having to replace one saves a bunch of money along the way in a family budget. Money that can finance a chunk of college expenses.
