Default Nav buttons suddenly dead! 2008 FEH

My 2008 FEH (58k) has been showing signs of a dead battery, in the morning it takes a few keys turns to start. Today all the buttons around my navigation screen, except the power on/off stopped working!! The 6 disc cd changed buttons still work, but music, nav, setup, mute etc, all are Dead! The touch screen sill works. Could this be from my dying battery? I'm going to autozone to get a new one tomorrow... Where can I get a new nav system if it needs replacing? I refuse to go to ford because the dealer near my house has tried to screw me one to many times...

Pleae help!

So I woke up today and went out to my car, started right up, battery seemed good, and all the buttons work!! Going to autozone to get a new battery today anyway!

Mine does this kind of stuff all the time. Most of the time simply cycling the key solves the issue, though I have had to remove a battery terminal once or twice to reset it.
