I already own a Honda Civic Hybrid, and have been looking for an Escape Hybrid for my stable. I currently have a non-hybrid Escape.

I looked all over the area for one, but couldn't find any dealers who had any in stock.

I had my local Ford dealer ask the factory about waiting times if I ordered one. I was told 4 months and they are only building retail units, none for dealers, which explains why none were in stock.

Anyway, I put down a deposit on a Kiwi green Escape Hybrid, and now the waiting game begins.

Mine was built yesterday, 9 weeks from date of order. I won't have it for 2-3 more weeks. You should have it in 10-12 weeks if your dealer has an allocation.
