Default New CDs for NAV?

Anyone hear of any new CDs in the works? Is there an usual update cycle for whoever it is that updates the CDs that comes with the Escapes?

The short answer is, no.
Plus new models are DVD based. Not compatible with the 2005-2007.

well i have a Garmin streetpilot and they have new dvd's out usually once a year. I know my 08 has the dvd nav system and the dvd-rom is from navteq which is the same company that supplies garmin with their maps, so i assume it would be the same with ford.

Yea, one of my pet peeves, is that I got maps discs from 2005, with my 2007 MMH.

That is very similar to going to the store and buying milk, and coming home only to find the milk's expiration date was in 2005.

GPS map discs go old and stale.
