Sorry, KenE, not to have added that BTM was disfunctional as well. I have been looking at Tav for a few days and noted that at least it always starts out reflecting ambient temperature, which is a crosscheck of sorts. Highest Tav to date was 93F the day before yesterday, when the OAT here in Stuart, Fl was 86F or so.

BTW, after doing that 3 and 6 button press on the nav system panel yesterday, which gets one into the diagnostics, I noticed that the system reads the DTC's and can acknowledge ( get rid of, I think ) them. Thus one doesn't need the ScanGuage for that activity if you have the 2008 nav.

John, Since we bought the car Oct 21, 2007, it's never been warm enough here to see Tav temps as high as you report. If car does sit long enough, Tav and ambient are one and the same. But off for less than 8 hours, if Tav was like 77-78F, in my attached garage, it might still be 10deg F warmer than ambient - The HV battery is slow to cool

I don't have the NAV system, so can't comment on that. Sorry! I rely on SGII a lot.
