What is the best steady state flat land speed for fuel economy with the ICE running and no drafting. Mine seems to like 44-45 miles per hour and really dosent do very well 30 to 40 miles per hour with the ICE on.

Yeah, I think you are pretty close there.
Maybe one or two higher.
I tell people I can get 48 MPG at 48 miles per hour.
That's easy to remember, and that's really without any battery use.
