Sway Bar Link Clunking Again

Re: Sway Bar Link Clunking Again
I bought the Moog links at Rock and installed them yesterday. It was an easy job - maybe 45 minutes at most. Fixed the clunk, nicely. These links have a much larger ball joint end with grease fittings and I'm hoping they will not need replacing for a good long while.
Does anyone know how often the links should be greased?

The Moogs started rattling at about 8000 miles, so I replaced them again (free due to lifetime warranty). Kinda disappointing.
Originals lasted 30,000 miles, second set Motorcraft (installed under warranty) lasted about 18,000, Moogs only 8000 .

Re: Sway Bar Link Clunking Again
This was timely. I'm getting ready to replace the front sway bar links on my truck and recently noticed that my wife's 2007 FEH rattles quite a bit (seems up front, but maybe in the back, too) and maybe it's time to replace the links. Sounds like either NAPA or OEM is the way to go given travelover's Moog comment.

Re: Sway Bar Link Clunking Again
Just a follow up. I started getting a really loud and nasty clunk on rough surfaces at low speeds. It would also clunk if you turned the steering wheel left and right at about 20 mph.
I had recently replaced my stabilizer links, so I was pretty sure that wasn't it. Today I discovered that one nut had come loose on the lower stabilizer attachment - just a little but enough to make an loud clunking.

Which Moog part # did you get...Rock Auto is showing 2? Thank you.
Edit: Moog K80296 (for a 2006 FEH)

Re: Sway Bar Link Clunking Again
I just replaced my Moog stabilizer links for the third time. I notice that the new ones look slightly different - hope they last longer. This last pair lasted 18,000 miles. At least Rock honors the lifetime warranty, less shipping back the old pair.

Re: Sway Bar Link Clunking Again
It is just a clunking noise on bumps at low speed.
