On my wife's Honda Pilot we just got a set of Yokohama Geolandar H/T-S. Only been on there a week or so, but they have been great in the snow & no complaints about road noise.

Hmm... That's strange. I tried to order a set of Yokohama Geolander H/T-Ses but was told they were discontinued 2 days later.

Humm, if my link works for you and you click on the check stock button, at least in the Denver area there are several stores that currently has stock.

We were also able to talk Discount down to $103 each from the $121 they were at the time (now showing $117).

If I change to Chicago / Naperville the price online shows $107, but are online order only with a 2 day lead time.

I was actually able to talk them down to $100 each for the tires, in stead of $107, and $8 for the warranty for all 4 tires in stead of $62. All I had to do was put a $20 deposit down to get a set of tires special ordered.

I suppose it is possible their distributor told them they were discontinued, even if they aren't. They're still listed as a special order on the website. Anyways, the Dunlops are rated just as well and supposedly quieter. It was either those, the Pathfinders, which don't look all that good, or Goodyears that were a little out of my price range.

If you go to tirerack.com you can research the tires you have in mind and find out what the weights are. Every pound removed from your wheels equates roughly to a 1/2 pound of torque gained. If you go to a tire thats 5 lbs lighter, thats 20 lbs removed and 10 lbs of torque gained. I think this is extremely important on hybrid since you gain both power and milage.

Does anyone know the weight of the 06 16 inch factory alloy rims?
