Where is the place that Ford places the Visteon Sirius Sat tuner module? I have been told that it is under the seats. Not mine. I have a adiophile sat ready radio. I have purchased the tuner and want to install it.

My tuner was installed under the carpet at the firewall on the passenger side. A bit of the insulation was cut out to hold the tuner. It is up high near the glove box so there is really no chance of someone kicking it with their foot.

It is a Visteon Sirius tuner installed on the upgraded factory radio about a month after I purchased the vehicle.

Here are a couple pics to show you where we installed the tuner.

In case you're wondering, Visteon makes a lot of the FoMoCo and Motorcraft electrical/electronic parts for Ford vehicles.

Kind of like how Delphi makes a lot of the GM/Delco parts for GM vehicles.
