Default Wind!

I'm sure it's been mentioned before, but it's definatly a factor!

17mi cross city trip today, mostly N/S direction, figiting strong N wind going (about 30mph avg wind) I struggled and got 27.something according to SG. Return trip, wind to my back I got 34.7!

Default Re: Wind!

Not just head winds cross winds will have a head wind component due to the apparent wind effect.

Exclamation Re: Wind!

Yup. Wind does not hurt your MPG 50% of the time, and help you 50% of the time.

Wind hurts your MPG 75% of the time, and only helps you 25% of the time.
