2008 4WD Ford Escape Hybrid, 40600 kM only in Toronto Canada.
Always great and I like it so much...
Yesterday after start a small slim wrench sign of green or blue color was on on the very left bottom corner of front panel. After driving a very short distance I turn off the car and restarted then it disappeared....what could be the reason and is it a problem?

The most common cause is the battery blend door. On my '05 FEH, the wrench came and went for 30,000 miles till I sold it. The vehicle never showed any signs of problems other than the light coming On. If it stays On, I'd have it repaired.
I did not experience any abnormals. Only suspect is last year it reached 7L/100km in June Or later may and this year up to now still 8L/100km. I blame this to infrequent drive and cold weather this year....
Thank you Gary and I will take your words...
