Moonroof?! I knew I should have waited!! Hahahah...just kidding...it would have killed me to wait a year to get this car. Side view mirrors can easily be replaced. PZEV rating is nice though.

Downside of the moonroof is that it reduces the headroom by approx. 2.5" as I recall...I would rather have the headroom and the open feel of the interior that it creates.

I'd rather have the moonroof, but don't want to wait for the '06, let alone the premium for a first release of the new model year. The LED taillamps are nice, too. But I don't like the way the back end looks. I'm thinking I saw the '06 comes with vehicle stability assist (VSA). Again, another feature I'd like to have.

Before buying the Accord Hybrid, I was planning on buying the Acura TL. Very nice car! It had so many other features that I wish the Accord came with. But when it came down to it (the rising cost of fuel) I just had to get the hybrid. If it wasn't for the price of gasoline, I would have gotten the TL.

By the way, the TL has a moonroof.

Bar10dah, yes I would assume the TL has a moonroof for the price. I also was looking at that car--great looking car w/a lot of amenities and power. But the fuel economy was going to be pretty much the same as my C320, and I was looking for something better than that. I love my HAHA though and have absolutely no regrets about getting that instead. And what do you mean you don't like how the back end looks? Did they change the styling? I have to do some research on the 06 myself. And I would agree with Kaymack that I love the interior headroom that the lack of moonroof creates. I have had my HAH since April and have not once missed having a moonroof. I've had moonroof on past cars and did like it, but realized I rarely would even use it. I would usually just slide open the shade and keep the glass closed.

Oh I saw the 06 Accord pics on the Honda website. I also am not crazy about the back end (I assume the hybrid will look the same as well). The back end reminds me of the older model TL/CL--don't remember which. But I do like the rear brake light being on the back.

kaymack,

I think you missed the point. It doesn't have to be a binary choice "big and powerfull" or "small and slow". Many of us are willing to accept a 4 banger for better efficiency, but can not accept a cramped interior. I need space for 5. I would have been willing to take a much less powerful Accord hybrid for better FE.

There's obviously a market for 4 banger Accords - they sell lots of them. So I can only believe that there would be a market for 4 banger HAH's that get 40 mpg rather than the 32mpg I get in my 6 cylinder.
