The 06 seems to be delayed for an unknown period, for a reason that hasn't been reported. However, I have access to a Honda parts database that currently lists 2006 HAH parts along with 2005, as well as other Accords. There are differences, as would be expected. I haven't checked everything, but have noted the following are different part numbers:

Front brake rotors (they say "16 inch" for the 2006) and calipers
Transmission assembly and transmission case
Transmission mounts
2006 lists sunroof parts
2006 only lists the jack and tools in the trunk, not the air pump.
Taillight units
(these last three items aren't a surprise, based on earlier rumors and the regular Accord changes)
Fuel tank (don't know if bigger, smaller, or what)
Fuel pump
Fuel evap. emission canister
Radiator
DVD player for Nav.
Instrument meter assembly (surrounding parts including clear cover are identical)
Engine control unit
IMA control unit
Alpine radio tuner assembly (note that navi display unit parts were not listed yet)
Wheels
Front and rear door panel
Rear speaker shelf
Rear hybrid emblem, 06 says "V6 Hybrid" instead of 05 separate emblems
Exterior mirror assembies (appear to be heated for 06)
Front grill (06 is in common with other 06 accords)
Windshield glass (06 is in common with other 06 accords, not sure what's different from previous years)
Rear window glass (06 seems to be unique to 06 HAH, not in common with other accords)
A/C compressor, condensor

Things that are the same part number between the 2 years:
Engine assembly, including cylinder heads
Engine mounts (from spot check of parts)
Main dash piece
Intake manifold assembly
Torque converter assembly
IMA motor assembly
Radiator fan
Eng. compartment battery

IMA "battery box assembly" (includes IMA battery?)

Front and rear door glass (06 and 05 HAH share glass, as do other 06 accords but not earlier accords)


Front bumper is unique to the 06 HAH - not in common with other Accords, although rear bumper is in common.

Any other ideas for parts I can compare and report back?

As the 06 is delayed, Honda could of course make more changes, but this should at least show what is planned, and seems to confirm they at least DO plan on having an 06 HAH (and there probably aren't major changes such as a switch to a 4 cylinder engine). Also note that Honda sometimes seems to change part numbers when they change suppliers. At least they do that with oil filters. So SOME of the parts MAY be essentially identical, or have only insignificant changes.
