Default 2006 HAH pushed back till June?

I just heard from a dealer that the '06 is being held back another 6 months! has anyone else heard this? Was this just a sales technique to move his remaining '05's?

I really need to make my purchase in the next few days and really wanted an '06...

Just get the '05. Of course, it's not one year newer, but they're plentiful. And you can get them a lot cheaper than an '06.

If the '06 came with the same rear end as the '05, I'd want to get the '06 as well. I'm just not fond of the way it looks. I think the only option that's on the '06 that I like is the VSA. I don't care for the other changes.

I sure hope it isn't pushed back. That would likely push me to another vehicle, even though I love my Honda's. 05's aren't as plentiful where I am at, and we really wanted the VSA and Sunroof.

rod.

Oooh, yeah... sunroof would be cool. Wish the '05 came with that.

I would have guessed spring 2006. In any case it'll probably be released when the 2006 NGV is, and I assume the Fit will be released around the same timeframe.

I like the new rear better than the 05, myself. I still wish they'd make a coupe with a MT, 'cause I'd be all over it with the new hybrid tax incentives.

AUTOMOBILE Mag gave the 06 Accord the "Best Butt Lift of 06" for the design change. I'm mixed.

It looks really good on ANY color other than the white one, where it looks a little .... "white cow in a snowstorm" plain. The dark gray model looks really good with the new "butt lift" though.
