Default aftermarket Navi possible for 05 HAH?

OK, I think that I have to give up on looking for 2005 HAH with Navi since there are not that many to find and deal.

It is more likely to find the non-Navi 05 HAH.
Hopefully I can find an aftermarket Navi system to install into the HAH.

My concern is that some info shown on Honda navi screen is probably very helpful/cool to see and they may not be visible to any non-Honda navi system.

Is it a good idea to get a non-Navi first and then "upgrade" it later?

There are alot of folks that swear by aftermarket navigation systems, but personally I chose factory navi, I prefered an integrated system...the dash layout is cool!

I have an aftermarket portable system. The nice thing is you can move it from car to car ( I have 3 right now ) - and if I don't want it in the car with me, it can stay at home. And if it gets obsolete in a few years, I can upgrade it easily!

RX8Daniel,

What system did you get? I am looking for a Navi myself. I don't have a lot of experience with them and would like to hear your thoughts.
