Default I can't find a definition

For ICE... I am interested in this talk about FAS - I know this is probably redundant, but if someone could explain what, why, how, etc. this technique is done (or post links to previous threads), it would be appreciated.

FAS is forced auto stop. This is the techique of rebooting the computer on the car to halt the engine.
