I'd bet that the diesel version of the 8th Gen Accord is likely to have fuel economy numbers close to this. HP probably about right, but I'd guess a lot more torque (200-230 ft-lbs).

I'd be really surprised if the diesel engine was available in the coupe though.

Well, I see you have had so far only one reply here. So to let you know that other Accord Hybrid owners are at least reading Post here, I have this to say.

That sounds like a great car for FE, but personally I bought my 07 Accord Hybrid for it's 255 HP engine and at the same time to deliver decent FE.

I'm not side tracking your Post, just simply letting you know your Post is at least being read by us here.

Terry

I too, purchased my HAH for it's performance/economy balance. It gets great mileage for a car that's also fun to drive.

Hey alloy,

I will 2nd that on the HID-Lights.

If you are not aware of these Lights ????

Here is what I changed mine out for before I took delivery. They work really good IMO.

Here are the Pics of the Low & High Beam Bulbs.

Try them I think you will like them. They are NOT-HID-Lamps but they work really good.

Almost forgot you can order them ON-LINE: I-Did:

Good-Luck & I hope you like them:

I have heard that these are good - however, when you buy them you should probably buy extras and carry them with you. When I researched this some time ago the knock on them is that they have a somewhat limited life (i.e., ~1 year). You may not care about the shotened lifespan, and your results may vary.
