what did they do at 7k? Should've been just oil?
There seems to be a perception by dealers that 1/2 the bars lit on the HAH or HCH is "low" and they like to "charge it back up" usually by gunning the engine for a few minutes,at your (gas and mpg) expense.

Did you get the car back with 6 bars? If so, maybe your drives are just such that there is enough regen going on to keep it high. Do you see the regen happening a lot more?

Has your mpg changed at all since the maint?

Please look at your invoice and tell us if there were any updates or other maint done- if we can all get our HAHs to hang out consistently at 5 bars, life is good. There could be a stealth software update that they are loading on when the car comes in for any maint.

no it was hovering around 3-4 like it normally does. i had a 40 mile drive this morning and it didn't go above 4 so not sure what they did. but they did piss me of i went in and had 33.4 mpg on dash and 34 on nav after i picked it up the dash was at 30 and nav said 19mpg wtf! all they did was oil and filter rotate tires and inspect everything.

Sounds like they gunned it to give you a 'full charge.'

tell them specifically NOT to do that next time.
