Default Nada values

I was looking at nada yesterday and two HAHs for sale with about 20k miles on each ,low price was $24xxx and the high was $27xxx. This was about 6 to 8 thou more than the standard V-6.I was not surprised considering the ramp up in gas prices

That's interesting. I luckily found a new '07 in New York back in June - that dealer took $7k off the sticker (sold it for $26k). I wonder if folks are actually getting those relatively high prices when they sell their HAH? Hmmmm... Well, I'm keeping mine for awhile I hope!

I got my 06 w/ 30K miles a few weeks ago for $22K (!) The book was $26K and they had $24K in the window. It's my 5th car from the dealership, so that may have had some weight in the additional price drop. I think people are afraid of "used hybrids" (cue scary music) because EVERYONE knows the batteries wear out after week and cost $100,000 to replace.

.

Four-passenger, stop-n-go, schoolbus-commute.
Just arrived, "Electra" the 06 HAH... yes, now we're a two hybrid family.

Hi Ice,

I'm not exactly sure what your question is, sorry. But if you're asking how the car is doing and how I'm liking it - I think the car is great! The mileage is decent (29-32 mpg city) but I do have to concentrate a little bit to keep it there. If I get heavy with the gas pedal, it can drink (not sip) the fuel. It is comfortable, quiet and seems to be just a solid car. I love to watch the IMA system work. I hope it'll be trouble free for a long time. Back when I bought the car, there were a few dozen NEW '07's still on car lots (mainly in the upper midwest and eastern US). See my "just checking in" post. The prices ranged from basically sticker to some dealers taking $5-7k off. So, that's how I got mine.
