Has anyone tried this on their Accord Hybrid yet? I am not brave enough to do it first!

I know that a user named 'Princess' on the DriveAccord forum updated her EX-V6 w/ Navi successfully the other day - it's basically the same unit as ours (except the TC is scaled higher in ours Actually, I think her spouse did it - he's a Honda mechanic / tech by trade. Nice to have one of those in the family!

As far as the nag screen, just the text disappears, and you still have to press the 'ok' button to get the map. Until someone figures out how to auto-gen that response...LOL

Some of the other forums have some imaginative 'splash' updates on their hacks - one of my faves is the CIA mock-up telling you to 'submit fingerprint ID on next screen' (not that I'm a big fan of the CIA or anything)

Well pushing the "OK" button wouldn't be so bad as long as you don't have to wait forever for it to pop up.

I agree, the ability to customize the splash screens is great! I wonder what sort of format and size requirements they need to be, it might be fun for folks to make their own
