Less dealer holdback at 3%: 27,645
Less $1250 marketing support to dealer: 26,395

This dealer's sitting on four 2006 models. And I live in a part of the country where hybrids are regarded as highly subversive.

Well, this should be really interesting. Please let us know the outcome of this. I'm betting you'll be disappointed. If not, then I'm disappointed. Good luck!!

Went today. Decided not to buy as the Accord's mileage is only a couple of MPG better than my wife's Passat that the car would be replacing; the Civic was too small for two adults, a toddler, an infant and all associated gear.

I'm here to tell you, though, that these cars have been sitting. The salesman advised that the cars (four 2006 Accord Hybrids) had been there for many months and that the dealership doesn't get a lot of interest. If there's anywhere you may be able to make a deal, this is the place.

Bale Honda in Little Rock, Arkansas. Our salesman was named Ray Cobbs.

Good luck to anyone who calls.
