Default Spare Tire

Will the spare for an gas 13/14 Accord ((( Wheel Disk (15x4T) (CMWA) Honda part number 42700-T2A-A52 and Tire T125/80D16) (KENDA) Honda part number 42751-KEN-006 ))) fit and can be used on a 14 Hybrid Accord ?

Also looking for a phone number to Honda Technical Support that can assist with this question.

Just can not drive a car with out a spare tire.

I have had my Accord for two weeks, getting 44 MPG with mixed driving and very happy with this automobile.

Yeah they give you a pump with integral tire sealant...basically a can of fix a flat. The dealer told me they were run-flats but that was a lie. Definitely no spare

The straight answer is yes. The bolt pattern is the same. But your best bet is simply to get a spare tire for a recent model Accord from your local used auto parts dealer. That what I did…a used compact spare from a 2009 Accord EX-L. The tire size is a bit different than the 2013/2014 EX-L (its about 3/4 in larger and thus closer to the diameter of a normal tire) but that only means it may not fit in the wheel well for the spare in the current EX-L. There is no such wheel well in the 2014 Hybrid, so you have to keep the spare in the trunk regardless. I paid $30 CND for the spare (+ taxes), while a new spare for a current EX-L is over $225 CND (+ taxes) and takes some time to get.

let me add that you can store the tire in the trunk if you remove the insert in the wheel well. It easily comes out…but then you need to put something on top of the tire to support the trunk floor. Don't forget to add a jack and wrench to the package (also obtainable from an auto recycler)

14 ACCORD. I had the dealer pirate a spare, jack set, etc from another Accord, took out the little storage tray that sits over where the spare would be, tossed it and the dougnut spare, jack/tire iron etc.fits right in the space where a spare SHOULD BE and then put the carpeted cover over it and voila a spare. it rides fine without the normal post and wing nut that holds in the spare in non hybrids. I kept the pump. I told them, no spare, no sale. I cannot believe they would sell a car without a spare. A pump and some crappy sealant does you no good when you have a blowout. Honda and the Feds should be ashamed of themselves for selling it that way.
