I just figure this would be the easiest method to get feedback about how well my car is working compared to identical models. Also, please excuse the corny commentary and accent. I just figured anyone interested in buying one of these cars could benefit from this.

I drive an '06 HAH and my observation has been that I get lot more assist from IMA and overall better fuel efficiency if I accelerate harder (but not too hard or assist goes away and gas engine jumps to higher RPM consuming more gas). You seem to be accelerating rather gently and it is not surprising that you are not seeing much assist.

That strategy really makes a difference. I've been half throttling from stop using about half the asst. I usually let off before I get over 3000 RPMs and maintain a constant acceleration. One thing I notice though, after stiff accel I can't recharge for a while. I have to cruise a bit before the recharge kicks back in. I guess it puts stress on the bat.
