Nomination for permanent thread

Hi,

I would like to nominate "I finally did it" for a 'sticky' thread in "Fuel Economy & Emissions". Absent an automatic announcement system, self-announcements is the next best alternative.

The only change I would propose is the subject line:

"HYPERMILER, I finally did it"

It might be nice to make a root message that described how hypermiler status is earned and encouraging folks to self-announce. But now we're 'polishing the musket balls.'

It is a record, an acknowledgement, of their driving skills. Once we had a sticky thread that congratulated folks for having achieved that mark. This is much is better because it is self-maintained, not dependant upon any one individual, while giving recongnition of their individual success.
