Default Reduced graphics for Treo?? and other phones

I've got a Treo 650 phone and enjoy this forum while I'm on the run with my Treo. I'm a member at the Treo Forum and they have a 'pda' sister forum where it doesn't take up so much memory. It strips avatars, advertising banners, etc.

Jason, is this possible?

I don't have my Prius yet, I'm waiting on that tax credit, but I do have my Treo. Yes, a mobile version of this site would be great!

I was making a request for a reduced graphics version of this site. It is done on some other forums and news sites. They take ad banners, graphics, layout is not as wide for pda/phone use. Pretty cool, and it loads fast.

Hopefully Jason will take a look at this post. Figure many of us who are Hybrid savvy are also tech savvy with the latest phones/pda's.

On the Treo 650 one does have the optoin to disable images while browsing, but I much prefer the site to reduce the graphics instead of disabling all on my Treo each time I visit the site. On the Treo open the browser and go to the menu, - preferences, - general, - check disable images.

That helps, but still there are other forum sites that are geared for pda's. Just curious what Jason thinks.

I have a Treo 650, also, and entering tanks, while at the pump, would be a good thing.

Sorry for the late response. In the future, if there are any questions targetted specifically to me, please send me a PM or email so I know I'm requested

I've enabled the "archive" version of the forums. It's intended for search engines but can also be used by your handheld devices. Let me know how it works for you.

Works perfectly with the Treo and very fast, but appears it is only the archived posts. Can this be altered to use with current threads?

I'm not sure what you mean. I'm able to view the latest/current threads through the archive.
