I must be a fool or something... but I can't seem to find the chat room anymore. Has this feature been removed?

My guess is that it was removed in the major software update a couple months ago.

When I first visited GH, the chat room was somewhat useful. If I had questions that begged a dialog, the chat room worked. But after awhile, it became more and more empty.

What I'd like to see would a 'chat room' with a 'ring' function to those currently logged in. Thus if I wanted to open up a discussion, a 'ring' pop-up would go to all of the currently logged in users who based upon the proposed subject, elect to join or pass.

You could consider setting up an IRC chat room. That's what we do on TDI Club.
