I would suggest picking one up from a northern climate because heat kills the battery packs faster than anything else. These are good vehicles, but it certainly helps alot to know how to work on them if you are going to get a deal on one (out of warranty) with higher mileage. Having done that myself I saved a bundle on the vehicle, rebuilt the battery myself and I have had zero issues with the HiHy since then......this does take quite a bit of mechanical knowledge/skill to pull off properly though.
