___Schwa, this is exactly why I think the Camry w/ HSD could be almost as spectacular as the Prius II in the EPA cycles. We will see soon enough but it depends if Toyota wants to screw it up or actually do the right thing with the Camry. Hybrid owners in general (sorry to the AH folks) are not looking for 0 – 60 times to beat their neighbors, they are looking for a high FE automobile w/ clean emissions more then likely. If they kill the HSD equipped Camry’s possible FE by hopping up the I4 (1.5, 1.8, or the 2.4 - whichever I4 they use?) w/ a 0 - 60 in 9 or less seconds, I am going to be pissed …
