Default Got a great deal on a new 2006!

In case you know of anyone who's looking for a great deal.....

I just wanted to share with everyone that I just bought a new 2006 (non-limited) at the Hollywood Toyota (not North Hollywood) for $6909 off MSRP. The cost was $28,695 plus taxes so my total was about $31,000. They had 2 in stock (silver & gold) and was advertised in last weekend's LA times. This was a phenomenal deal as I called all the Toyota dealerships in the LA area and they told me that the price must have been incorrect and pounce on it quick. It's the basic one with package 1 (moonroof, CD changer) and it came with the cargo/floor mats.

I don't know if they're running the deal again this weekend or if they have any left (I got the gold one) but I could easily flip my vehicle for more than I paid for it! it currently has 200 miles on it (got it at 40 miles) and am getting 25 - 30 mpg (average is 28 mpg)!

I also got a deal on the Platinum Service agreement - 7 years/75,000 miles for only $695 through another Toyota dealership that I found online. Hollywood tried to charge me $1695 for the same thing. I'm taking the money that I saved and installing the nav system & getting leather seat covers!

Congrats! on the great deal. For those of us who wanted an SUV for a low price - we are jealous. Maybe there hope for more great deals for those who need a hybrid SUV in the future.

wow!!!

Great deal. I paid 41k for ours -tax , extended warranty , title incl. Ours is top of the line limited though fully loaded.

i think down here you would have paid a good 34-36 for that model

cheers
