Hello all Hybrid owner and lover,

We just got our HiHy limited 4WD about a month ago. We LOVE it.
Now we would like to install (D.I.Y.) the hood protector, wind deflector and the running board, but not sure how complicate it is. Have anyone done this on the HiHy before? Do you need special tool to do this? which can I install myself and which should be installed by the TOYOTA technician? any advice and instruction would be great.

Running boards are fairly easy to install, They bolt right in.

I would caution about installing the hoop protector though. I have had these on vehicles in the past and over time they will tend to rub the paint off at the edges of the hood.
