Anyone else seen/heard this rumor..??

There was a recent press release floating around about a I4 ICE in the Highlander.

The I4 will not be offered in the hybrid initially and only unofficial rumors regarding the I4 Hybrid Highlander.

It seems to me that it would be the absolute ULTIMATE in marketing STUPIDITY for Toyota to use an I4 in the standard HL but not the hybrid where the I4, even a lower HP/torque Atkinson version, would be assisted via the "SuperCharging" of/by the electrics.

Certainly would OUTPERFORM, 0-60, the non-hybrid I4 HL and maybe even the HL V6 version.

Maybe by 2010 we can have an RX250h with an I4...??
