The RX was already updated a few years ago (whenver the RX300 became the RX330).

I know they seem to share a lot, but their refresh cycles are a few years different. Not at all like the ES and the Camry.

By update you mean redesigned? yes. That was in 2004. (Released in April 2003).

Yes, I meant redesigned. (Although they hardly changed the exterior styling!)

It's such a beautiful vehicle it can stay the same for 20 years and still look great. My buddy from the Lexus dealer said it will probably be the 2010 or 2011 model year.

The new RX (that will sit on the same platform as the 08 Highlander remodel) has been spied, but heavily cladded ... from the sounds of it, the gas powered RX will be out sometime next spring (likely April-ish 2008) as an '09 model. My guess would be that the RX hybrid will be out a few months later in the fall.

Lexus had a VERY mild re-fresh of the RX350 this past February/March/April and brought it out early as an '08 model ... the 400h is following suit with the slight changes right about now.

I will be interested to check out the new RXh when it comes out ... I used to own an '05 RX 330, but now own an '07 Acura MDX. I almost bought a 400h when I bought the MDX, but the lack of AUX input/better integrated Sat radio/not as nice Nav system/plus desire to try something new led me to the MDX.

I really wanna use less gas though ... I will be on the watch to see how they REALLY look when they come out.
