just read an article today about the "green goat" in the january issue of model railroader magazine (thanks to my dad!) but it doesn't look like it's online yet. here's a direct link to the rather interesting hybrid train locomotive! top speed of 60mph moving a whopping 275,000 lbs of weight, not including additional attached rail cars.

Very very cool.

Doing a bit of research on my own, it seems the only drawback is cab heating, the lack of it.

It would be nice if Lionel were to produce one, I'd definately get it!
