Default Interesting Newspaper Article

Hi all,

Here's a link to a newspaper article concerning the effects of the recent $3.oo-per-gallon gas and its effects on large SUV sales. In the face of high gas prices, some of these people still 'need' their gas hogs...

Whatever...

What about the "air tax"? If some of the other major metro areas are like Dallas, you have had a number of Ozone alert days this Summer....

"Does he really want a Suburban in the face of higher gas prices?

'You probably don’t, but if you’ve got the means, why not?' Welch said while shopping at Stasek Chevrolet in Wheeling, Ill.

In Welch’s mind, it’s right, regardless of gas prices."

Oh my god what an idiot.

‘‘With two kids, we need the space, and my wife feels safer in an SUV,’’ Lococo said, citing traditional reasons people buy SUVs. ‘‘If it’s safer for my wife and kids, that’s better for me.’’

"Loco" is a fitting name... Bigger does not always mean "safer".
