The European versions are much more attractive in looks, design, and engine choices than the NA choices.

I'm bummed.

Hi EricGo:

___I think the reason the compacts are built with a more luxurious flavor in Europe is because the compact is the equivalent to the mid-size here in the states. Gasoline at $4.00, $5.00, and $6.00 + has pushed the European’s to the smaller automobile of course but that does not mean there tastes are any different then ours. A Civic/Corolla is the Camry/Accord here and there is definitely an upscale feel to the Camry/Accord vs. the Civic/Corolla if you decide to equip it as such. They pay through the nose for their automobiles as well. Do the $ to Euro or Pound conversion on what they pay for whatever let alone the ridiculous taxes on top and it isn’t too pretty by comparison

T-Spirt based Prius II is the loaded up Prius II here in the states (NAVI, BlueTooth, SS …). EV button and rear discs come to mind but those are pennies on the dollar.

England 2005 Prius II - T Spirit: £20,045 or $36,290 in today’s $’s!

___The ICE choices? Given their Diesel bent, I can see that too but I sure would like to take that 2.2 iCDTi in the 06 Civic for a spin across Illinois and back a few times

___Good Luck
