Default Now that global warming is official

(CNN) -- Global warming is here and humans are "very likely" the blame, an international group of scientists meeting in Paris, France, announced Friday.
"The evidence for warming having happened on the planet is unequivocal," said U.S. government scientist Susan Solomon, who also is a member of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change.

Now that all doubts about the existence of global warming have been eliminated, and the culprit identified (you, me, him, her, us), how do you think it will impact sales and acceptance of hybrid cars?

I know in my case, my acceptance of global warming was a major factor in my willingness to spend some extra $$$ on a Prius.

Personally, I don't think it will change a thing. Those who believe global warming will believe it till the day they die, those who don't never will. There is so much bad science out there, that most people don't know the truth from a lie. In the end, they will likely believe this year, what they believed the year before.

For Douglas Adams fans, it's a world full of SEP fields. "Sounds real important... somebody should do something about that".

Honestly I think the most powerful thing you can teach people is how to learn and try to own and issue weather or not their to blame.

Well said. There is bad science on BOTH sides of the issue. The average person can become quite confused, depending on where they find their "facts."
