And then they wonder why they get lousy mileage and the average fuel economy for their HAH is only 22mpg. At 100
mph, the VCM on the Accord won't even kick in let alone the IMA having any noticeable effect. Actually though the fuel economy seems quite good considering the speeds they were travelling at.
Meanwhile, today I posted an average of 40mpg on my 50 mile commute cruising at 65-68mph.
And this is why the automotive press always seems to get poor mileage with hybrids
