My bet is Fit Hybrid is not coming.

<Hybrid>
· Honda will offer a new dedicated hybrid vehicle in 2009 at a price level lower than the Civic Hybrid.

Right. What I've read is that the next Honda hybris will be in the Fit's size and price category, but won't actually be called a Fit. I'm sure people will want to buy it, regardless of the name (myself included).

.

Hope is like a candle held against the night.

This is what I gathered-- it won't be a hatchback (too bad too as I really loved my Honda Civic hatchback circa 1980s). But whatever it is, my understanding is that it will be lower in cost than the HCH and a lot of people will buy it, including me. :-)

Hopefully my Corolla holds up. I heard now 2009, but you know how in the car world 2009 isn't *really* 2009. Oh well. And of course, I don't know that Honda has confirmed or denied this.
