If you are looking into purchasing a hybrid, owning one will cost more initially when compared to a conventional vehicle. If you are looking long term, you will probably spend less money on gas and maintanence......if cost was the only issue. There are many other reasons to go hybrid, of course. I am glad i made the move back in August and will probably keep my 2007 TCH for many years!!
