Advice on picking up TCH
Dealer just called, our car is in. Plan to pick it up tomorrow. Any advice on what to check before we drive it off he lot? Already have the following list from reading the posts here.
1. Check that the manual is a hybrid manual
2. Check tire pressure
3. Make sure they installed the rubber plugs (not sure exactly where they are)
4. Make sure they give us Nav disc
Of course we will check for fit and finish and probably test drive.
Anything else? Thanks, Laurie

Re: Advice on picking up TCH
If your state requires a front license plate, inquire/demand the bracket. You don't want to simply bolt the plate directly to the bumper.

Re: Advice on picking up TCH
Have them agree to adjust any of the customizable items for free. Example: One click of the remote un-lock button can open all doors (if you want that). There are many other options regarding the auto headlights, locking options etc. See the list at http://toyotaiguide.com/content/07Camry/iGuide.htm Go to "other features", then "customizable electronic features"

There is a Toyota bulletin dated June06 that says as of that date, the front license plate bracket is an optional accessory. So the dealer is under no obligation to provide this bracket if you "demand" for it.

Re: Advice on picking up TCH
I suggest you move "test drive" to the top of the list. My thinking is to never sign paper work for a new car until you have given the car a serious test drive. I do not mean a demo car, I mean the car you will soon own..........Just my opinion.
