Boxwave has awesome retractable cables, for all sorts of devices. Here's one that would be perfect for the TCH Aux input.

And I can second that the Crutchfield filter works great. If I don't have it I get an annoying whine and hiss, but the filter completely eliminates it. --benny

Does anyone know if you can control your iPod through the navigation screen by using the Aux cable?

No. You can't control your iPod through the nav screen.

There are aftermarket devices that could be installed behind the radio/nav that will allow you some control of your iPod.

I have the same belkin device (and love it) but I would get noise from time to time. Not always, but sometimes.
I can turn the Belkin all the way up and still no noise now with the filter

The only way to go using the aux jack is to get a cable that plugs into the dock connector of your iPod and the other end to the jack, this gives superior sou nd than using the 3.5 to 3.5 cable as that is using the headphone jack on the iPod which has inherently poorer sound quality than the dock connector. You can find these at Amazon for between $7 and $15

Yeah, I get the hiss with the Belkin too. Too bad because I bought a $52 one that includes the stand just for the purpose of the hiss.

Guess I'll buy the filter.
