Default Baby It's cold outside-Need a engine heater

Just wanted to know if anyone has installed a engine heater or block heater in there camry hybrid yet. Will a standard 4-cyl heater fit??? ...JoeBlueHeat® Produt Information

I don't know much about these things but have learned there are three different types...freeze plug, dipstick, and hose...I take it this is one that goes into the hose? In my researching I found that the Car Talk guys say that as long as you get one that fits your hose you should be able to get one at a good auto parts store. Is this really true? Do you have to have one that is specific for your car or will a 'generic' one do? I'm getting really tired of sitting in the driveway for 5+ minutes waiting for the windshield to clear so I can drive to work, which is a whole 2.5 miles away!

As you can tell I am frustrated! Short of building a garage are there any other options?

Unfortunately it is not the outside of the window that is the problem...it is the inside! It fogs up! I use a great zero degree washer fluid that takes care of the frost on the outside. It is waiting for the car to warm up and defog the inside that is the problem...
